Police Detectives Arrest Female Bandit Arms Supplier With 15 Rifles, 400 Ammunition

A female arms smuggler reputed for supply firearms to bandits has been apprehended by police detectives, New Nigerian Newspaper has learnt.
Our correspondent gathered that the gun runner identified as Mrs. Nvou Michael, 37, was intercepted by the the Federal Intelligence Bureau Special Tactical Squad with 15 locally made rifles and 400 rounds of 7.62x39mm AK47 ammunition in a Toyota Hummer bus.
The suspect,a native of Vim LGA Plateau State  was said to be traveling from Jos, Plateau to Kaduna when she was arrested along Samminaka/ Jos expressway.
The suspects was among the suspected criminals arrested across the country by police operatives recently and paraded in Abuja as part of the breakthrough recorded by the IGP Usman Baba Alkali led administration.
According to a release by the Acting Force Public Relations Officer CSP Muyiwa Adejobi,Investigations revealed the suspect was an arms smuggler for some bandit groups in Kaduna State.
 Similarly, Adejobi disclosed that Police operatives also  arrested one Nuhu Yakubu, a 33-year-old male from Donga, Taraba State, while he was conveying 1,500 AK47 ammunition from Wukari to bandits in the Donga Forest.
