Our aim as a university is not only to achieve reversal of medical tourism but also the reversal of educational tourism. How have we been able to achieve this?  Number one is that, we have assembled the best academic staff in Nigeria; majority of the academic staff have Ph.D, while the remaining  are close to the completion of their Ph.D programmes. Secondly, we have digitized our academic conferences, our first year examinations on university wide-courses are computer based test. All our financial transactions are online and are digital.

`We have exposed our students to start research very early and have granted them access to international data base. We want them to have a least 300 electronic textbooks  in their various disciplines before graduation.

`This is the only university that lectures start by 8:00am and ends at 5:00pm. I am happy to announce that the university has achieved stability in their academic programmes and activities,” he said.
