Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf to Address Kano State’s Housing Deficit, Says Rabi’u

The Managing Director of the Kano State Housing Corporation, Alh. Abdullahi Rabi’u, described that the administration of His Excellency the Executive Governor of Kano State, Eng. Abba Kabir Yusuf, is committed to tackling the pressing issue of the housing deficit.

 In his address to the workshop attendees during the 2-day national workshop organised by the Association of Housing Corporations of Nigeria in Abuja, the Managing Director of Kano State Housing Corporation expressed confidence in the transformative impact of Governor Yusuf’s initiatives, emphasising their potential to reshape the state’s housing landscape for generations to come. As Kano State continues on its path towards inclusive and sustainable development, the visionary leadership of Governor Yusuf stands as a beacon of hope for affordable housing advocates across Kano State.

The MD assures AHCN, real estate developers, and other stakeholders that  the Executive Governor of Kano State, Eng. Abba Kabir Yusuf’s commitment to sustaining partnership and engagement for the achievement of collective goals in reducing housing deficits in order to solve issues concerning rural urban migration and provide robust infrastructure throughout the state. 

The theme of the workshop was to “Facilitate Affordable Housing Finance and Delivery in Renewed Hope Agenda.”  This initiative is in alignment with the commitment of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State to provide accessible housing throughout the state.

In his words: “Governor Yusif has laid out a comprehensive plan to address the deficit of homes in Kano State.

Recognising that housing is not just about shelter but a cornerstone of economic prosperity and social stability. Governor Yusuf’s administration has embarked on a multi-faceted approach to meet the diverse needs of the population.”

He further said the governor’s vision is the promotion of inclusive and equitable access to housing for all segments of society.

“Through strategic partnerships with stakeholders in the public and private sectors, innovative financing mechanisms, and robust policy frameworks, Governor Yusuf aims to create an environment where every resident has the opportunity to secure a safe and decent place to call home,” Rabi’u stated.
