Management of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) has assured to improve power supply and quality service delivery in Katsina, Kano and Jigawa States respectively.
The Management of the company said in a statement by the Deputy General Manager (DGM) Corporate Communications, Ibrahim Sani Shawai that, the company’s mission is to be an efficient power distributor focused on customers satisfaction.
“Our vision is to enable re-industrialisation, economic empowerment through safe, reliable power distribution and in all, KEDCO is committed to the industrial and economic empowerment of Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States through reforms in power sector distribution,” Sani Shawai emphasized.
He disclosed that, recently, there had been improved supply of electricity and it would continue on that path in line with the Company’s vision to propel economic growth that would impact on citizens in the franchise states.
He reiterated that, “We have been following up on our mandate, hence the constant investments in power equipment and network improvement and expansion.”
While informing public about their mission and vision, Sani Shawai solicited partnership to help and serve all KEDCO’s stakeholders.
Ibrahim Sani Shawai appealed to Customers in Katsina, Kano and Jigawa to be apt on payment of bills as and when due, reporting illegal activities and safeguarding KEDCO equipment.
