Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi has commiserated with the Chairman, Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote on the death of his brother and Vice  President of the group, Alhaji Sani Dangote.

Dr Fayemi, in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Yinka Oyebode, said Sani’s death was unfortunate and very shocking.

The Governor said the deceased was not just the Vice President of Dangote Group but also a reputable businessman whose diligence and expertise earned him membership of boards of several business organizations.

He said Sani’s passion for business necessitated his investment interests in manufacturing, banking and oil services as well as the agriculture sector where Ekiti State has attracted investment from Dangote Rice.

The Governor who commiserated with the Dangote family prayed God to give them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

“The news of Sani Dangote’s death came as a rude shock; it was unfortunate but we cannot question Allah who gives and takes. Our prayer is that the Almighty Allah will give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.”

“On behalf of myself, my wife, the government and the good people of Ekiti State, I commiserate with the family and pray God to be with the family of our dear departed brother”, Fayemi said.
