Adamawa State Ministry of Youths and Sports Development has set plans in motion to partner Dangote Sugar Company in developing youth in the area of sports.
The Honorable Commissioner of the ministry, Mr Aloysius A Babadoke visited the office of the corporate organization in Savannah, Numan and informed them of the interest of Adamawa government to partner with the company in organizing a marathon competition for the youths in the state
While highlighting the importance of the marathon competition, Babadoke reiterated the need of physical fitness for everyone as it yield to healthy living.
Babadoke who is the Chairman, Adamawa Commissioners Forum, said the epoch visit is to further call on private companies in the country to partner with the ministry for the development of the State.
Aloysius said that Governor of the State, Rt Hon Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has being given the ministry due support,described him a Sports Loving Governor.
In their separate speeches the Acting Chief Executive Dangote Sugar Company, Dr. Ibrahim Doka, commercial relation manager, Ganiyu Dada Bello, head of human resources, appreciated the visit by the commissioner and emphasized the importance of Marathon and assure their support at all times.
The Commissioner alongside his entourage comprises of Directors Of Sports, Director Youth, Deputy Director and board Chairman Sports Council were all elated to the innovative drive of Aloysius in revving the ministry.
