The Vigilant Group of Nigeria (VGN) was established by some of the well meaning citizens in order to support the security agencies in keeping the society safe and secured.

I am of the opinion that the organisation is making good efforts towards ensuring that there is better livelihood in all the nooks and crannies of this great country, especially when the security agents need accurate support from the public.

It is pleasant to note that  there is the presence of VGN at both levels, and the group is working selflessly to ensure that there is peace and unity every time in order to protect  lives and property or the innocent residents, which is the main reason for the establishment of the organisation.

I wish to use this medium to call on President Muhamadu Buhari to sign the VGN bill into law before quitting office to allow the group work diligently and to serve with more legal backing as seen in other nations.

I wish to also commend our able Commander-General, Navy Captain Umar Bakori and his lieutenants for keeping the organisation’s flag flying, and assure that VGN would continue to render good services to the people without bias.
