Sulaiman Hunkuyi has said that the Presidential flag bearer of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso will outrun major co-runners, Bola Tinubu of All Progressives Congress (APC), Atiku Abubakar of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Peter Obi of Labour Party (LP) and others.
He made the assertion at NNPP Kaduna stakeholders’ meeting on ways the party’s candidates standing for various elective positions in the forthcoming 2023 general elections would emerge victorious at the polls next year.
The party stakeholders at the meeting also constituted and inaugurated members of Kwankwaso presidential campaign team tasked with responsibility of ensuring a landslide triumph at the poll next year for the party’s candidate for Nigeria’s number one seat.
Sulaiman Hunkuyi, NNPP’s Kaduna governorship candidate for 2023 general election who presided over the meeting declared that electorate were already fed up with APC and PDP, an indication, he noted would give his party an edge over others in the February polls.
Hunkuyi further disclosed that as a veteran in politics and election matters, he could boldly say that NNPP would put an impressive outing and shock other major parties contesting in the 2023 election.
” The handwriting is clear on the wall that the level of disenchantment with parties which have presided over the affairs of these country has never been this high amongst the electorate in the run-up to 2023 general elections.
” This has given us a great sense of hope and confidence that the people who are the deciders of political direction are joining our party in high numbers, resolving to work assiduously for the victory of NNPP next year.
” We felt we should come together to strategize by ways of forming a number of strategic teams, saddled with responsibilities of ensuring triumph for our candidates standing for election, particularly our presidential flag bearer, Engineer Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso,” he added.
Kaduna North House of Reps candidate of the party in the forthcoming 2023 general election, Hon. Usman Bawa ABG expressed optimism in the ability of the party to clinch victories for all its candidates in the 2023 general polls .
ABG reiterated resolve to work in earnest, with commitment and above all passion and loyalty to ensure positive goals for the party.
” As you can see our opponents are already jittery because of the impacts we are making on daily basis as We inch closer to election days.
” With determination on a united front which We have achieved already, I can say victory will be ours come 2023, “he assured.
Director General of Kwankwso Campaign Organization in kaduna State, Prof. Shehu Adamu Danfulani also spoke in a similar vein, assuring electorate of what he described as masses based programmes of the party which he noted would emancipate the people of Nigeria from their present state of uncertainty and economic hardship.
He said the NNPP would not be a mere party of rhetorics and empty noise meant to grab power with no solid means to actualize manifesto to better the lives of Nigerians whom he stated had gone through so much hardship in the hands of successive administrations.
” We will make a difference if elected next year by putting smiles on faces of voters and their families through provision of dividends of democracy and prioritizing interest of the masses above anything.
” We won’t deceive Nigerians by abandoning them to their fate as APC and PDP have done since the return to democracy in May 1999,” he said.
