The Commander Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) and General Officer Commanding (GOC) 3 Division Nigerian Army (NA), Major General Ibrahim Ali has been presented with an award for Peace Ambassador and Exemplary Leadership in Peace Building by the Muslim Youth Foundation and Boys Brigade of Sanga Local Government Council in Kaduna State.
General Ali who was represented by the Deputy Commander OPSH, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Tazangwu Iyua, thanked the association for finding him worthy of the award.
He charged them to continually preach peace and unity to their congregation and live by same teachings.
Furthermore, General Ali urged those present at the occasion to be peace lovers, noting that development is achievable only in a peaceful society.
Present at the award presentation ceremony, were the Chairman Sanga Local Government Council, Commander Forward Operating Base (FOB) Sanga, among other dignitaries.
