Nasarawa Assembly Hails Governor Sule Over Dualization Of 4.3km Lafia/Shendam Road

Committee of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly (NSHA) on Urban and Regional Planning has commended Governor Abdullahi A. Sule over the ongoing dualization of 4.3km Lafia/Shendam road. 

This, the committee said would decongest traffic, boost transport system and beautify the state capital. 

The Chairman of the committee, Suleiman Yakubu Azara gave the commendation when he led other members of the committee alongside with officials of Nasarawa Urban Development Board (NUDB) to inspect the ongoing road project. 

According to him,  Governor Sule’s efforts in dualizing Lafia/Shendam road and embarking on other roads construction in Lafia deserves commendation.

“We will give His Excellency the much needed support to succeed in execution of roads and other projects in the state,” he assured. 

The committee equally inspected the ongoing road construction in Burial Ground Street and Government House area road.

He also commended the contractor handling the construction of the road projects for  quality jobs.

“We want to express our  satisfaction with the quality and level of work done so far by contractors handling road projects in Lafia, the state capital,” he added.

On his part, the Director Engineering NUDB, Engr. Enga Ezekiel thanked Governor Sule and the committee for supporting the board in all of its activities.
