The Jigawa State chapter of All Farmers Association Of Nigeria (AFAN) has canvassed support for the state’s All Progressives Congress (APC) Gubernatorial candidate, Malam Umar Namadi Danmodi for what it described as viable continuity.
This was disclosed by the state’s chairman of the association, Alhaji Idris Yau Mai Unguwa during a courtesy call on the governorship candidate, Umar Namadi, adding that they resolved to support his candidature because they find him a great asset to the people of Jigawa state for resourceful continuity.
Mai Unguwa stressed that Dan Modi remains the best choice to the Jigawa farming class and farmers under the umbrella of AFAN is in support of continuity considering how Governor Abubakar Badaru tried his best towards the development of farming at both rainy and dry seasons.
“We are happy to announce our full support to Malam Umar Namadi Danmodi and we would continue to contribute our quota in order to ensure that he succeeds Muhammad Badaru Abubakar in order to continue enjoying all support to actualize profitable farming occupation,” he said.
