Police Vows To Fish Out Killers Of Southern Kaduna Chief, Wife, Says Son Responding To Treatment

An intensified manhunt is currently ongoing by the Kaduna State Police Command for men suspected to be hoodlums that murdered the Chief of Numana, HRH Dr. Gambo Makama and his wife early on January 1, 2018.

PPRO of the command, ASP Aliyu Mukhtar expressed this while speaking to our correspondent on phone.
According to him, the command received a distress call around 12 midnight of an attack on the village located in Sanga Local Government Area.
He explained that when they arrived the scene, unfortunately, the hoodlums had already attacked the chief but they were able to evacuate his remains and that of his wife to hospital.
ASP Mukhtar also informed that the son if the victim who was injured during the attack was equally moved to hospital for medical attention.
“The situation is calm and we have mobilised more security to the affected area. We are not leaving any stone unturned, till we fish out the killers and bring them to book,” he said.
