A former House of Assembly member in Ondo State, Hon. Oyebo Aladetan  has called on the youth of Ilaje and Ese Odo local government areas of the state to embrace peace and shun violence.

Hon. Aladetan who made the appeal during a chat with journalists in Akure said, there could be no development where crisis thrives.
According to him, Ilaje 11 state constituency has nothing to show for her seven years representation in the state Assembly compared to the two years of Ilaje 1 constituency which he represented.
Even the eight years representation of Ese Odo constituency, he said ought to have had more dividends of Democracy better than her current status if the Youths could embrace peace.
His words, “presently, the position of the Deputy Governor as elective position occupied by Hon. Agboola Ajayi from Ese Odo is also germane and critical for consideration in this regard”.
In his own contribution, a legal luminary in Akure, capital of Ondo state, Barrister Monuwa Akinyele who also hails from Ilaje 1 state constituency urged the people of Ilaje and Ese Odo Federal constituency to vote for a better candidate that could represent them at the lower chamber by 2019.
With all the people that had represented the area in the past, Barr. Manuwa said the dividends of democracy which the area had experienced during the period Hon. Aladetan represented them in the state Assembly has no equal.
He recalled how Hon. Aladetan was able to empower many Youths to become small scale practitioners and employers of labour even as he used the opportunity he had as the Chairman, House Committee on Information and other positions he held in the House.
The legal luminary also noted the spirit of Hon. Aladetan to identify with his people in the riverine areas as soon as he ceases to represent them in the State House of Assembly.
According to him, unlike others that had served in various capacities, he said no one has ever lived among the people in the riverine area where there is no electricity and pipe borne water.
Going by his contribution in job creation, Manuwa disclosed that non of his business establishments are outside Ilaje local government.
He therefore advised the people to ensure such an individual with human face represent them at the National Assembly by 2019 general election.
He how ever cautioned the people to go for their permanent voters cards to afford  them the opportunity to vote for a better candidate of their choice.
