Education: Dawakin Tofa Council Boss Distributes 10m As School Fees

Dawakin Tofa Local Government Council has distributed  cheques  worth 10m as school fees to  schools training the students sponsored by the local government council across the country.
In a colourful ceremony held at the office of the chairman of Dawanau International Grains Market, Ado Tambai  disclosed that  educational development remains one of his administration’s policies in order to ensure progress and self-reliance in the local government area.
He added that, ” our administration would continue to boost education at both levels because there would be no progress if there are uneducated people, therefore, we are making good effort at ensuring that our people mostly youth acquire sound education with optimum result,” he concluded.
The schools that were paid include School of Health Technology Kazaure, School of Health Technology Malumfashi Katsina State, Yusuf Maitama Sule University,  Halima Adamu School of Health Technology (KERD) and Bichi Academy College of Health Technology that accommodates thousands of students sponsored by the local government council.
The occasion was well attended by the member representing Dawakin Tofa Local Government Constituency, who doubled as the chairman of the occasion, vice chairman of the council, council members and many stakeholders in education and APC leaders.
In a chat with some beneficiaries, our correspondent gathered that the council chairman has since his inception into office, concentrated on educational development programmes, youth empowerment and security management.
