The Borno State Commissioner of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Engr. Lawan Abba Wakilbe on Wednesday, visited the Borno State University (BOSU) and urged the school authorities to maintain standard of education.
He also promised to ensure more educational interventions are provided in the varsity to enable the school continue to build in the existing standards and improve where necessary, while sustaining others.
Wakilbe was received by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Umar Kyari Sandabe and the management of the university who took him round some facilities of the university.
The commissioner commended the management of the university and urged them to build on existing standards, while promising to channel more government interventions to the university.
Wakilbe was accompanied by the Director of Higher Education, Fatima Alh Baba, Director of Quality Assurance, Abdullahi Hassan Kabura, among others.
