Reacting on the development, the Enugu  Electricity Distribution Company, in a statement via its verified Twitter handle on Monday, explained that  the loss of supply was as a result of an explosion which occurred at  its Mile 50 Injection Substation, in Abakaliki.

EEDC’s Head, Corporate Communications, Emeka Ezeh noted that the development has led  to disruption of  supply to its 11KVA feeders in Udemezue, Azuiyiokwu 1, Township and Industrial, saying efforts are in top gear to have the issues resolved.
