Banditry: Helicopter Bombing Injures 13 Residents Of Katsina Village

No fewer than 13 people from Kunkunna village in Safana Local Government Area of Katsina State have sustained various degrees of injuries as a result of an object blasting suspected to be from a Helicopter Bombing.

Our correspondent who visited Malam Mande General Hospital Dutsinma were the patients are receiving treatment, reports that the blasting of the bomb affected males, females and some babies in the area.

 Similarly, the thirteen people come from one  family in Kunkunna Village.

Some of the victims received treatment at the hospital and were discharged to their various homes, while others are responding to treatment and some are to be referred to General Hospital Katsina.

However, some of the relatives of the victims Malama Fatima Haruna and Malama Mariya Sirajo said a helicopter visited the area around twelve O’clock of  Tuesday night, with a heavy light  flashing like  thunder.

 They said the Helicopter misdirectedly dropped a bomb into their home which is a compound family home.

 Malama Fatima and Malama Mariya Sirajo said many people sustained injuries.

 They called on the state government to come to their aid saying that they are in need of help.

 It would be recalled that armed bandits  attacked the Presidential convoy and other people at Turaruka Village in Dutsinma Local Government Area on Tuesday night.
