Nigeria continued from where they stopped against Algeria as they defeated Zambia to better their classification at the Africa Women Junior Handball Championship ongoing in Conakry, Guinea.
The National Under 20 Female Handball team tutored by Coach Bukola Duru entered the match with vigor as they ran riot to end the first half 20-8.
They continued with the same momentum in the second to win the match 35-26 despite a late surge from the Zambians.
Nigeria will play Algeria for fifth place after the North Africans defeated Bukina Faso 28-17 in a pulsating classification match.
