Alhaji Gambo Mamman, a respected Board Member of the Yobe Desert Stars Football Club (YBDSFC), has issued a call to action for the team and management to revamp their strategies in order to build upon their current performance and prepare for the upcoming season.
Despite missing out on the Super 8 qualification, Alhaji Mamman expressed his gratitude to various stakeholders including His Excellency, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, the State Executive Council, the YBDSFC management, players, technical crew, devoted fans, and all supporters from Yobe.
Having served as the former Executive Director of the Sports Council, Alhaji Mamman stressed the significance of critically evaluating the team’s performance as the season nears its end.
He emphasized the need for collective efforts from Management, Technical Crew, and players to fortify the team for the challenges of the next season, with the ultimate aim of securing a spot in the NPFL.
In a message of appreciation, Alhaji Mamman congratulated both the management and players for their hard work and dedication.
He encouraged everyone to strive for a decisive victory against Mighty Jets in Jos this weekend, aiming to conclude the league campaign on a positive and triumphant note.
He maintained that by working together and giving their best on the field, the Yobe Desert Stars Football Club can look forward to a successful future in the sport.
