2023 Polls: Ibarapa Central/North Accord Stakeholders Endorse Engr Okanlawon As Reps Candidate

Accord Party stakeholders in Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency on Wednesday  unnanimously endorsed Engineer, Olusegun Okanlawon as the party’s House of Representatives candidate for the constituency in the 2023 general elections.

The Accord Party stakeholders in Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency made this known in a communique issued after a stakeholders’ meeting held at Tapa area of the Federal Constituency .

Engineer Okanlawon was unanimously endorsed to replace Chief Ademola Ojo, who recently defected to the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and appointed last week as the Deputy Chief of Staff to Governor Seyi Makinde

In the communique, the Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency stakeholders described Engineer Okanlawon as a philanthropist and committed democrat, who had contributed immensely to the development of Ibarapaland.

Engineer Okanlawon was born on June 20, 1985, he  attended Adegoke Nursery and Primary School, Igbo-Ora before he proceeded to Olivet Baptist High School, Oyo for his secondary education.

He bagged his Bachelor of Technology degree and Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the prestigious Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso.

Engineer Okanlawon is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of O4 Multipurpose Unique Concept Limited (O4 MUCL), a logistics and construction company in Port Harcourt.

He is a member of the Nigeria Institution of Highway and Transportation Engineers; Nigeria Society of Engineers(NSE); Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and many more. 

He founded Olusegun Okanlawon Foundation (OOF), an NGO focused on driving sustainable community development through strategic investment in socioeconomic endeavours.

Okanlawon, had through his foundation, organised annual Ibarapa Sports Fiesta, awarded academic scholarships, provided educational support and other humanitarian support.He sponsored the production as well as  distribution of hand sanitizers and liquid wash in Ibarapa during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic.
