About 48 hours after breaking the news of the killing of notorious armed bandit kingpin, Tsoho Buhari also known as Buharin Daji, the Zamfara State Government and the Department of State Service (DSS )have confirmed the killing of the dreaded Buharin Daji.
Presenting the decomposed body of Buhari Daji which was brought to Government House, Gusau around 6.15 pm Friday by soldiers, the state Deputy Governor, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad commended the repentant bandits for saving the state from the horror being perpetrated by Buharin Daji and his gang.
Waakkala called on other armed bandits to drop their weapon and embrace peace.
Also the State Director, DSS Zamfara State command, Hadi Usman Sudawa said the decomposing body was that of Buharin Daji.
“The troops of the Light Tank Battalion, the Command and members of the repentant armed bandits have in joint operation arrested and killed many top commanders and the foot soldiers of Buharin Daji, finally, killing of Bukharin Daji by members of the repentant bandits along with seven of his top commanders,” he said.
Zamfara State Governor, Alhaji Abdul’Aziz Yari Abubakar is expected to address the state on the actions and measures being taken by the state government to curtail armed banditry, cattle rustling and other crimes in the state.
Buharin Daji was killed two days ago by some repentant armed bandits in a village in Dansadau Emirate, Mary Local government area of Zamfara state,
