Foundation Assists Indigent Students In Educational Pursuit

Beatrice Oluwasanya Foundation (BOF), a non profit Foundation is assisting financially handicapped children of all categories in their educational pursuit.

The presentation programme which took place at Saint Andrew’s Anglican Church, Uso in Owo Local Government of Ondo State on Friday, drew the 2018 Beneficiaries within Uso community.
In his welcome address, the Chairman Board of Trustees, Prof. Rufus Boboye Fatuyi disclosed that Headmasters of primary schools and the Principal of Uso Grammar School as well as heads of other tertiary institutions assisted the Board in the identification of those in need.
According to him, the number of beneficiaries had been expanded over that of last year to reach all the targeted categories of the less privileged in the society.
Prof. Fatuyi also disclosed that forty recipients had been identified for the year 2018 award based on available limited resources of funds.
While calling on well meaning individuals and organisations to  support the Foundation by donating funds generously, he assured that more pupils will benefit in the next year programme.
In his goodwill message at the occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of Diaspora Institutions, Mr. Akinwale Ojomo commended the initiator of the Foundation, Mr. Safe Oluwafemi for starting what he described as “Life saving” project.
He assured that he will use the ceremony to involve more Diaspora Institution members to assist the Foundation to do more for those children that are  financially handicapped.
Also, the representative of Head Teachers in Uso and environ, Comrade Adeshina Adeniyi gave kudos to Board of Trustees of BOF for the milk of humanity that runs through their veins.
The year 2018 award ranges from N5,000 primary category, N17,000__ Secondary school category while those in the tertiary Institutions went home with N50,000 each.
