Speaker Dogara hails Dangote’s Philanthropic Acts In North East

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yakubu Dogara, has commended President of the Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote on his efforts at bringing succor to the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the North East, as he facilitated with business mogul at his 60th birthday.
In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media & Public Affairs, Turaki Hassan, the Speaker, described Dangote as a philanthropist and investor per excellence, as he  also hailed Dangote’s unwavering faith in Nigeria and indeed  Africa, which he said has helped in creating millions of jobs in the continent.
“On this special day of your diamond jubilee, we celebrate you, a man of many caps, who has brought wide-ranging positive changes to the business environment in Nigeria, Africa and beyond.
“As a leading businessman, industrialist, investor per excellence and philanthropist, you have shone like a star,  making Nigeria – and indeed the African continent – proud, and placing it firmly among growing industrialised nations.
“Your unwavering faith in Nigeria is commendable, as you have continued to invest and create millions of jobs for our people, and have been consistent in providing help for the poor and vulnerable in the society especially, Internally Displaced Persons in the North East, thereby contributing your quota to reducing the scourge of poverty in our land.
“We can only pray that God grants you more wisdom, sound health and vision as you break more grounds and give more service to humanity.
