A former member of the House of Representatives, Hon Shina Peller, has congratulated Gov Seyi Makinde, on his recognition as the Governor of the Year by the management of the Leadership Newspaper.
The Ayedero of Yorubaland in a congratulatory message on Wednesday described the award as a well-deserved one.
He stressed that the Governor of the Year Award conferred on Gov Makinde ” is a testament to his impressive leadership attributes and firm commitment to delivering good governance to the people of Oyo State.
” This well-deserved “Governor of the Year” award is a testament to Governor Makinde’s unique leadership attributes, dedication and commitment to delivering good governance to the people. His achievements so far as the governor remain noteworthy”, he said.
Hon Peller added, ” Congratulations to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, on his recognition as the Governor of the Year 2023 by the management of the Leadership Newspaper. It’s indeed a well-deserved recognition for all the hard work and dedication.
” I am honoured to have such an incredible leader who has made a positive impact in our state. Also, I am proud to be part of this incredible political party, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state led by an exceptional leader.”
Expressing delight in having Gov Makinde as a leader, Hon Peller reaffirmed his membership of the PDP, and expressed happiness that Oyo PDP is being led by an “exceptional leader” like Governor Makinde.
“I pray that God continues to strengthen the people’s governor in all ways as he continues to pilot the affairs of Oyo state in the right direction. Amen. Once again, congratulations my leader. it is a well-deserved award.”
