Senators Wamakko, Aleiro,  Yerima Condole  Family Of Late Sarkin Sudan, Alh. Shehu Malami

Member of the Muslim World League and Senator Representing Sokoto North Senatorial District, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman Sokoto, Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aleiro, alongside Senator Ahmad Sani Yariman Bakura and former Deputy Governor of Zamfara State, Alhaji Mukhtar Ahmad Anka have extended condolences to the family of former Nigerian Ambassador to the Republic of South Africa, Ambassador Shehu Malami who died on Monday and was buried yesterday Thursday in Sokoto.

A statement Signed by Bashar Abubakar, SA Media and Publicity to Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko and made available to newsmen revealed that, Aleiro, who spoke on behalf of the other Senators, described late Sarkin Sudan as a true nationalist, who spent his entire life in preaching peace, unity and the propagation of Islam.

Aleiro said that the nation has lost a leader and a hero, who loved the people at heart. 

He explained that as a member of the royal family, he left a huge gap that would be very difficult to fill.

The Senator prayed Allah the Almighty to forgive all the sins of the deceased and reward him with Jannatul Firdaus as a final abode.

A special prayer was offered by Malam Bashir Gidan Kanawa for the repose of the soul of the deceased.

Late Sarkin Sudan, Amb. Shehu Malami died on Monday December 19, 2022 at a private hospital in Cairo, Egypt. 

Similarly, APC gubernatorial candidate in Sokoto State, Hon Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has expressed condolences to the family of the late Sarkin Sudan.

Ahmad Aliyu, who was away for some important assignments, described the deceased as a leader and father who died while struggling for his nation, Nigeria. 

Wamakko and his colleagues, were received during the condolence visit, by Alhaji Muhammadu Malami Sheikh, the District Head of Sabon Birni Sokoto, among other royal families.

The Senators were also accompanied by North West Zonal Secretary of APC, Barr. Bello Muhammad Goronyo, businessmen, traditional leaders, ulamas and politicians among others.
