The passion of Lt. General Tukur Buratai (rtd) for soccer is undisputable.
There is heightened excitement in Maiduguri as the final match of the fifth edition of the Zaman Layfa Cup of the Amb. Lt. Gen. T.Y. Buratai (rtd) Garkwuan Keffi is slated for Saturday December 24, 2022 at the Police Ground , Maiduguri by 4pm.
Interestingly, the final match is between TY Buratai Academy (Borno) and Roma selection F.C (Hausari) which promises to be an explosive encounter.
The encounter will witness lots of dignitaries who are eager to know if the final match between the two gladiators will be a replica of the just concluded world cup final between Argentina and France during the World Cup final in Qatar.
