Put Knowledge Gained To Good Use, Graduands Of Army School of Military Police Charged

Graduands of the First Quarter Course at the  Nigerian Army School of Military Police have been charged to put the knowledge gained to good use.
The Special Guest of Honour, Brigadier General Auwalu Gumel Mahmuda and Academy Registrar of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) gave the charge at the graduation ceremony of the First Quarter Course held at the school auditorium.
Brig. Gen Gumel  congratulated the Nigeria Customs personnel for their ability to pass through the herculean training in the school.
He expressed satisfaction with the high level of discipline the school  has maintained since  inception and commitment and courage to finish strong in  their respective courses.
General Gumel also praised the Commandant, Staff and instructors for a  job well done in impacting positively on the graduands, while congratulating the students who distinguished themselves and received awards after they had successfully completed their courses.
Earlier in his welcome address, theCommandant Nigerian Army School of Military Police, Brigadier General Mathias Erebulu  charged all graduands to be good ambassadors of the school in their respective units, formations and places of deployment.
As part of activities lined up for the graduation ceremony, the Military Police Close Protection Course carried out stripping and assembling of the Colt pistol under 30 seconds with their eyes blind folded.
Students who distinguished themselves in character and learning, were also presented with awards namely; the Commandant’s Award, Deputy Commandant’s Award and the Chief Instructor’s Award which went to the overall first, second and third positions in order of merit respectively. 
Lt. M.U. Gado, Warrant Officer Adekola Olajide, Corporal  Anawo Charles, Corporal Bijimi Jerimiah, Lance Corporal Emmanuel Uchenna, and Corporal Ademuyiwa all emerged tops in Close Protection Course, Security Management, Military Police B1, Military Police Ride B1, Special Investigation A2 and Special Investigation A3 Course respectively.
A total of  135 students graduated, the break down is as follows: two officers, 99 Soldiers and 34 Men of Nigeria Customs Service.
The Chief Instructor  on behalf of the school, also appreciated the Special Guest of Honour and other invited guests for coming despite their busy schedules.
 He also requested that they  oblige when next the school requests their presence in similar capacities.
