Port Harcourt Based Suspected Robber Nabbed In Delta With Stolen Vehicle

A serial suspected armed robber, based in Port Harcourt

has been apprehended by police operatives in Delta State, with a stolen Toyota Hilux recovered from him.
Different vehicle plate numbers were also said to have been recovered from the suspect said to be a vehicle snatching specialist around Warri area of Delta.
Identified as Richard Tobi of Obibo quarters in Portharcourt, our correspondent reliably gathered that the suspect was arrested at  Mammy market, Effurun in Uvwie LGA where he was arrested with different vehicle plate numbers.
Arrested by operatives attached to A Division Warri, the suspect was said to have led the decoy team to his base in Akwa-Ibom where  one Toyota Hilux with Reg. No. UYY 210 GT suspected to have been stolen was recovered. 
The police public relations officer DSP Edafe Bright confirmed the report in a release made available at the weekend.
It reads,  ” On the 02/03/2022 at about 1024hrs, acting on intelligence gathered that one Richard Tobi ‘m’ of Obibo Port-Harcourt, Rivers State who specializes in snatching vehicles was around Warri, operatives of ‘A’ Division Warri were detailed to trail and arrest him with a view to seeing that he is brought to book. 
Consequently, upon technical intelligence led investigation, suspect was trailed to Mammy market Effurun in Uvwie LGA where he was arrested and different vehicle plate numbers were instantly recovered from him. 
Upon further investigation, the suspect led  Operatives to his base where one Toyota Hilux with Reg. No. UYY 210 GT suspected to have been stolen at Akwa-Ibom was recovered. Suspect has been charged to court and remanded in prison custody”.
