Barring any last minute changes, plans have been concluded for the 2023 Kaduna State Under 19 Inter Barracks Volleyball Championship, which is in its second edition.
A statement signed by the Secretary, Kaduna State Volleyball Association (KADSVA), Florence Yori, informed that the competition will be held between January 18 to 21 at the Kotoko Barracks Volleyball Court.
“The second Kaduna State Inter Barracks Championship is tentatively slated to take place as follows: Date: 18-21 January, 2023 Venue: Kotoko Barracks Volleyball Court,” she said.
According to the statement, a total of eight teams will be participating in this year’s edition.
The teams are, Kachia, Kalapanzi, 44 Barracks, Ribadu Cantonment, Dalet Barracks and NAF Base.
Others are, Jaji Cantonment and Zaria.
She explained that rules of the competition, include eligibility of players should be drawn from only officers and soldiers children.
“The competition is purely for officers and soldiers children leaving in the above named Barracks,” she said.
She categorically stated that it is only open to those who are under 19.
” No National Leagues players will be allowed,” she warned, while assuring that other details to follow.
