Participants of just concluded ICEADA Peace and Development Empowerment Training have commended the association for initiating a genuine self-reliance programme in the 16 communities derived from 11 local government areas in Kano State.
They made the commendation at the end of a graduation ceremony of the participating comunities that were trained on various skills acquisations and awards presentation to other prominent personalities who offfered their helping hands in the success of the concluded programme.
Alhaji Rabi’u Mohammed Isyaku who is the village head of Gama in Nassarawa Local Government Area said that ICEADA is a very active organisation that solely cares for the people of all categories.
He assured that he would continue to give his contribution in order to ensure that people benefit more from it’s provisions, and called on all those who benefited from the empowerment to use the gesture for self-reliance.
In his remark, the ward head of Hajj Camp, Alhaji Muhammadu Dan Kano announced that he was happy that ICEADA is working selflessly for the progress of the people at both urban and rural areas, and thanked the project leader, Professor Muhammed Bello Shittu for his untiring efforts in the promotion of peace and unity in Kano State.
Similarly, the representative of the Sitti village head, Malam Muktar Sale Yerima of Sitti, who spoke on behalf of the best community, lamented that the people of Sitti are aware that ICEADA is working day and night to change things for a better state.
He disclosed that the entire people of Sitti vllage would continue to work with the association for more progress.
Most of the participants that had a chat with our correspondent stated that ICEADA is an association that debuted zeal of promotion of peace and development from what it is offering.
They thanked Professor Shitu and his lieutenants for bringing more opportunities to youth and women gender at all levels.
The occasion was attended by the graduands and many distinguished personalities who witnessed the colourful ceremony.
