Oyo Govt Slams Suspends SSS 2′ Student For Slapping Teacher

A Senior Secondary School, (SSS) 2 student

was on Tuesday suspended by the Oyo State Government for allegedly slapping  a Corps member teacher in his school
The SSS 2 student identified as Ojo Roqeeb was placed on suspension via a letter handed over to his parents by the Oyo State Commissioner for  Education, Science and Technology, Barrister Rahman Abiodun Abdu- Raheem.
The Commissioner during his visit to the suspended student’s school, Anglican Commercial Secondary School, Orita-Mefa Ibadan expressed displeasure over the reported  slapping of the teacher by Roqeeb
Barrister Abdu Raheem declared that in addition to the immediate one month suspension for the student. Roqeeb on return after the suspension will have to apologize to the corp member and sign an undertaking. 
While handing the suspension letter over to Roqeeb parents, the Commissioner warned that Oyo state government will not condone any act of indiscipline in its schools hence the need for the students to be of good behaviour.
Barrister Abdu Raheem stressed  that any student caught, acting in an uncivilized manner, will henceforth be dismissed from schools in Oyo State.
