The Disaster Management Unit, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Command Headquarters, has discovered some unidentified corpses along Kaduna-Zaria Highway.
This was disclosed in a situation report made available by HOU/DMU
NSCDC Kaduna State Command, ACC Akhaine King Michael, dated Thursday March 14, 2024.
It informed that the incident was recorded on Wednesday March 13 at Dutsen Abba Community, Abba Ward of Zaria Local Government Area at about 7am.
“Through checks by the NSCDC Zaria Division, it was revealed that at the same hours of the day, a driver that had a faulty vehicle on the highway was in search of stone to wage his vehicle and in that process, discovered two dead bodies and one person laying down and still breathing, suspected to be abandoned by its killer,” the situation report informed.
According to ACC Akhaine King Michael, personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zaria Division worked in collaboration with the personnel of the Nigeria Police, Kaduna State Vigilante Services in successful evacuation of the two dead bodies to the morgue of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria and took the other person who was still breathing and alive to same Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Zaria for medical attention.
