The Concerned Northern APC Youth Forum at the weekend, reiterated their confidence in a former Governor of Imo State, Ikedi Ohakim and advised the current administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to look his way when appointing Ministers.
The APC youth said Ohakim’s wealth of experience and drive for a much better Nigeria is what the country requires at this material time.
Hon. Suleiman Liba who is the Chairman of the group, said that only people of proven integrity and experience are required at this material time to help advance the course of nation building.
“Dr. Ikedi Ohakim is a statesman and a very loyal party man, who has encouraged human capital development and leadership at almost all strata of human endeavors.”
“Nigeria under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is poised to deliver on the goals and Dr. Ikedi Ohakim will prove a very viable catalyst to this quest.”
“He is a unifying factor who believes that much more can be achieved on a united front, he has demonstrated this in his home state of Imo by bringing most waring camps together to work for the peace and progress of the state under the leadership of H.E. Sen. Hope Uzodinma, who today, he enjoys a smooth working relationship with.
“Dr. Ohakim is a man we can vouch for, even though we don’t come from the same region as him, but this is about Nigeria and Nigeria is bigger than any region.
We must put aside parochialism and move our country to it’s original place as the giant of Africa and a true force to be reckoned with globally, “
“We have the potential and we can get there but only with committed individuals such as Dr. Ikedi Ohakim,” he said.
