Border Communities in North-West Nigeria have congratulated Nigeria’s President-elect, Ahmed Bola Tinubu and his Vice, Kashim Shettima on their victory at the just concluded Presidential election on Saturday February 25, 2023.
A statement from the chairman of the group, Alhaji Bashir Mohammed Leader, said the group is proud of their success at the elections and urged them to work for a better Nigeria.
According to Bashir Leader, “The hard earned victory of Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima, at the 2023 Presidential election is a testimony of their acceptance and trust by all Nigerians to lead our country to the promised land.
“We the border communities are particularly grateful for this victory as we have all worked hard to achieve it. I want to assure all people that the Tinubu/Shettima Presidency will bring a new lease of life as the president elect have promised to carry the sector along during our engagement with him.”
He urged all border Communities in Jigawa, Kano and Katsina states to support the APC Government of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shettima so that Nigerians can all benefit from the government in order to move the country forward.
