Nigeria, Czech Republic Partner On  Irrigation Equipment Manufacturing

The bilateral relations of Nigeria and the Czech Republic is becoming stronger with His Excellency, Ambassador Kevin Peter fostering a developmental relationship between the two countries.

On Friday, at the Nigeria Embassy in Prague,  the capital of the Czech Republic Honourable Peter told this medium that the country has signed an agreement to establish  Irrigation Equipment Manufacturing Plant in Nigeria.

According to Kevin, the partnership was orchestrated by Presidential Implementation Committee on Technology Transfer.

The decision reached by the two countries has brought together NASENI and Machine Tools on the Nigerian Part and SIWATEC Group comprising Aqua Industrial s.r.o and ABO Valves s.r.o on the Czech Republic side.

While signing the agreement, officers of these companies, Prof. S. Haruna, the Executive vice chairman of NASENI,  Mohammed Dahiru,  Chairman of PIC, and Mrs. Blessing C. Torti, the minister were in attendance to witness the event.

Peter revealed that the agreement if fully implemented, will be of great benefit to Nigerians in the area of job creation.

“I’m t will boost the country’s economy and improve the par capita income in wealth creation, and the countries’ bilateral relationship will be strengthened,” he assured.
