Some stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have called for the suspension of the party’s Secretary, Hon. Samuel Ayaga after plot to expel immediate past Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Hon. Silas Ali Agara, failed.
The Chief Barau Luka Dameshi-led stakeholders

had also reportedly plotted to expel former lawmaker, Senator John Danboyi, from the party over alleged disloyalty to the governor.
The move to however, expel the duo from the ruling party who are perceived to be “stumbling blocks for 2023 general elections” was called off during an emergency meeting held in Akwanga after the secret plots were leaked.
Barely few days after the emergency meeting, the Stakeholders have called for the suspension of the secretary, Hon. Samuel Ayaga over the failed plots.Ayaga was alleged to be the mole within that leaked the information and therefore thwarting the planned expulsion.
“The party have just resolved to set up a committee to investigate the Secretary”, a source stated. “He was the one that leaked the plots and must pay the price.”
Meanwhile, the plots first leaked through a female associate of the party Chairman, Hon. Abbas Liman.
Liman had confided in her during a private moment that they have concluded plans to expel Agara and Danboyi from the party ahead of 2023.
This, the chairman said, was a directive from above in order to safeguard the interest of the party.
Similarly, he had thrice sought audience with Agara through his aide but wasn’t granted. This, out of anger pushed him to conspire with Dameshi for his expulsion.
He had also during discussion with friends at his usual Majalisa around Lighthouse Resort, Akwanga boasted that the “plan will see the light of the day”.
