Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has approved the dissolution of the governing council of the three state owned tertiary institutions.
The Secretary to the State Government, Mohammed Abdullahi announced this on Friday in Lafia that the affected institutions include College of Education, Akwanga, College of Agriculture, Lafia and Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia.
Barrister Abdullahi thanked the chairmen and members of the councils for services rendered and wished them well in their future endeavours.
The SSG also said that the dissolution took immediate effect.
