Mimiko In Last Minute Loot Of State Treasury, Set To Take N450M – APC

The All Progressives Congress, APC in Ondo State has raised the alarm, that the outgoing Governor of the State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko is in last minute looting of the treasury and was set to concluded another heinous plans to loot the state treasury of N450million through the 18 local government areas of the State.
In a statement issued by the Party’s Publicity Secretary, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya, the party said, “we have uncovered another heinous plan of the outgoing government of Dr. Olusegun Mimiko to loot a whopping sum of N450million through the 18 local government areas of the state, under the guise of grading road surfaces.
The Governor has approved the sum of N25million for each LG Chairman for the grading of roads in their domain.
Meanwhile, the LG Administrators will only have access to N2million each per local government, while the Governor will get the kickback of N23m from each LG.
“The money is scheduled to be disbursed today Monday, January 9th, 2017, from the state’s treasury.
“The APC informed the general public of the most recent and desperate effort of the outgoing government to loot the treasury.
”We also wish to caution civil servants to desist from conniving with officers of the outgoing government to steal resources of Ondo State”, Abayomi said.
”It bears repeating that all the detailed activities and documentation of the outgoing government are at our disposal. We have been closely monitoring the actions and activities of Governor Olusegun Mimiko since November 2016, especially the last minute awarded contracts and disbursements of funds”, the statement read.
