Katsina State Police Command has raided a Criminal hideout and rescued nine victims of human trafficking in Daura Local Government Area.
The State Commissioner of Police, CP Idrisu Dabban Dauda said while parading the victims before journalists in his office, that they were conveyed from Kano State to Daura by a Driver who on “sighting the Police, abandoned the victims and took to his heels.”
Commissioner of Police, Idrisu Dabban Dauda said the nine victims were en route Libya through Niger Republic border.
Idrisu Dabban Dauda named the nine victims of the human trafficking as Timilaye Ojo “F” aqed 26 years of Lagos State; Blessing Joseph “F” aged 19 years of Edo State; Khadija Abdullahi “F” aged 29 years of Ondo State and Safiyyat Ahmed “F” aged 21 years of Lagos state;
Others are:- Precious Nuhu “F” aged 22 years of Kaduna State; Bolanle Adewusi “F” aged 32 years of Ogun State; Okpoekwu Eunice “F”of aged 28 years of Enugu State; Kabirat Azeez ” F” aqed 19 years of Ondo State and Taiwo Adeolo “F” aged 27 years of Ondo State.
