Governor Dikko Umaru Radda of Katsina state has dissolved all political appointments in the state with immediate effect.
A statement by Secretary to the Government of the state, Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa said to this end, the Governor has directed all political appointees to handover affairs of their offices to the most senior director in their MDAs.

however, the directive has exempted the state Pilgrims Welfare Board which would continue as a committee until the completion of 2023 Hajj exercise.
“His Excellency, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda expressed appreciation to the dissolved appointees for their contributions to Katsina State,” Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa emphasized.
