Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba has deployed Aliyu Abubakar Musa as 25th Commissioner of Police in charge of Katsina State Police Command.
A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Katsina state Police Command Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu said CP Abubakar Musa hails from Chanchaga Local Government Area of Niger State.
ASP Sadiq Aliyu said the new Katsina State Police Commissioner was enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a Cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police (C/ASP) on May 18, 1992 and hold a bachelor of arts degree in education (BA Education) obtained from Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto.
Accordingly, CP Aliyu Abubakar Musa has served the force in various capacities across all the geopolitical zones of the country, ranging from administration, investigation, and operational departments of the force in addition of attending several courses within and outside the country.
PPRO Abubakar Sadiq Aliyu consequently, said the new Katsina State Police Commissioner, Aliyu Abubakar Musa solicited Prayers and support to enable him discharged his duties.
