Kaduna Police Familiarizes With Catholic Media Practitioners, Set For Effective Partnership



The Kaduna State Police Command has reiterated its resolve to vigorously partner the media in its reportage of security matters.
The Police Commissioner Kaduna State Command, CP Mudasirru Abdullahi made this declaration while speaking to members of Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN) Kaduna State Chapter on a courtesy call to his office.
CP Abdullahi who lauded  the association for its outstanding commitment to credible journalism, stressed that its doors and windows are open for the association, given that the media is sacrosanct in promoting peace especially in a state like Kaduna.
On security workshop proposed by Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria for Journalists, the Commissioner promised to ensure that the association gets the basics for covering Security matters.
Earlier, the Chairman Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria Kaduna State Chapter, Comrade Nicholas Dekera who congratulated the new Kaduna State Police Commissioner over his posting, revealed that the association will be partnering police and other security agencies for security media workshop which will boost coverage of sensitive security matters.
Dekera commended the Police in the state for friendly media relationship over the years, stressing that such outstanding show of professionalism is key for effective policing of the state.
