Uduak Akpan, who killed a job-seeker, Iniubong Umoren in Akwa Ibom State last year has been sentenced to death by hanging.
Presiding Judge, Justice Bassey Nkanang who pronounced the sentence in a judgement he delivered on Thursday August 4, 2022.
The judge also discharged and acquitted Uduak’s father and sister who were joined in the case for charge of accessory to murder on grounds that the Prosecutor could not prove the charge against them beyond all reasonable doubt.
