Kaduna state government, led by Governor Nasir Ahmad ElRufai on Wednesday has said they have set up a peace commission that will sought out any chances of conflicts in the state.
The State Deputy Governor Architect Barnabas Bala Bantex, who represented Governor Nasir Ahmad ElRufai, said this when he received the Ambassador of Ireland of Nigeria, on a courtesy visit to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House on Wednesday in Kaduna.
According to him, they have come out with plans on how to deal with issues that will discouraged the movement of youths from idleness.
He said, the state government, has created more jobs opportunities that will engaged the youths in the state.
He expressed that, the state government is collaborating with the security personnel to ensure their is security of lives and properties in the state.
He further said, the state government has commended the effort of various groups who have play a positive role in exercising a peaceful atmosphere in their community and the entire state.
He noted that, the coming of the Ambassadors to the state has brought development especially on the issues of insecurity.
In a remark, the leader of the delegation, Ambassador Sean Hog said they were in Government House to share their experience in the last 20 years on the issues of reconciliation of peace and how to come in agreement to bring unity in the state.
He said, to achieve peaceful coexistence among diverse group in the state, their is need to come together, discuss and identify ways of stopping violence in the state.
He commended the state government, for the efforts put in place to ensure that their is peace in the state.
