Graduating Students: Kano Air Force Comprehensive School Holds 6th Commendation, Valedictory Service

The Air Force Comprehensive School (AFCS), Kano Chapel  has held a special commendation and valedictory service for the academy’s outgoing students on Sunday in a colourful ceremony,  witnessed by the school’s management team and invited guests.

In his speech, the school’s commandant, Wing Commander M. Garba  congratulated the outgoing students and charged them to be  good ambassadors  anywhere they find themselves in their lifetime.

He maintained that Kano AFCS would continue to provide quality education to the younger generation, especially at present when the globe is changing rapidly, adding that education is a great tool for excellent livelihood.

Similarly, the father of the day,  Mr. Yusuf Noel described AFCS Kano as one of the most formidable comprehensive academies established by the Nigerian Air Force, where quality education is  given to the young ones at the grassroots level.

He advised the graduands to be  precious products of the school  everywhere they  find themselves and be obedient to their parents, guardians, relatives and work for the progress of Nigeria as their fatherland.

He commended the commandant, the vice principal administration and vice principal academics, as well as all the school instructors for their determination towards giving quality education to their kids.

In her remarks, the mother of the day, Mrs. Lilian E.O. Onyemechi stated that, “As a mother, I would be glad to see that our children obtain good and sound education from the grassroots like what is being witnessed and enjoyed at AFCS Kano and I am happy that the commendation and valedictory ceremony was very  colourful”.

At the valedictory service, Bible reading, thanksgiving, songs ministration and certificates presentation were done, while the occasion was well attended by  special guests of honour, parents, guardians, graduands and other invited guests where a short drama was presented in order to encourage incumbent students to acquire sound education
