Governor Obaseki Makes Five Key Appointments

The new governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki has made five key appointments for smooth take-off of his administration.
These five appointments include the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr Osarodion Ogie, Chief of State (COS) to the state governor, MrTaiwo Akerele and Mr John Mayaki as the Chief Press Secretary to the governor.
The two other appointments include, Hon. Kingsley Ehigiamusor as the Deputy Chief Of Staff (DCOS) and Mr Musa Ebomhiana as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) both to the office of the state deputy governor, Hon Philip Shaibu.
Meanwhile, Mr Godwin Obaseki who was sworn-in as the governor of the state on November 12, 2016, has been paying inspection visits to ministries and government facilities in the state.
He has also held a meeting with the Permanent Secretaries in the state. The governor enjoined them to adequately take charge of affairs of their various ministries until when substantive Commissioners are appointed.
