A newly formed Fulani cultural group known as Gan Allah Fulani Development Association has pledged to change the perception of the people that was hitherto identified with crisis in the country.
National secretary of association, Alhaji Sale Bayari stated this during an interview, while giving an insight on the emergence of the group.
He revealed that Gan Allah Fulani development association which comprises notable and prominent Fulanis in the country was aimed at re invigorating and re positioning the affairs of herdsmen.
“We the leaders of herdsmen in the country are concerned about the escalating relationship existing between the cattle Fulanis and farmers in Nigeria,“ he said.
Bayari recalled that such misunderstanding between the two people normally ended up with settlement but regretted that such conflict now resulted to killing and destruction of lives.
Such situation in the country according to him, was unacceptable, stressing that there was the need for government at all levels to critically work towards ending the ugly scenario in the country.
He called on those collaborating with the some selfish Fulanis to cause disharmony and disaffection between the farmers and herdsmen to have a rethink.
The concerned herdsman said that Fulanis in the country are productive, being solely responsible for supplying the country with milk, and beef.
