*el-Rufa’i assures of sound, quality education across the state

Emir of Zazzau Alhaji Shehu Idris has advised students on the danger of involving into any form of any social vices particularly examination malpractices.
He gave the advise at the commissioning of science laboratory at Zaria Children School which was donated by the board of trustees, on Thursday.
The Emir who was represented by Alhaji Umar Mohammed, Fagachin Zazzau warned that social vices and examinations malpractice ruin education.
He charged students and pupils to work heard instead of involving in such habit.
Emir Idris commended the effort of the Board of Trustees for their timely intervention by providing the Laboratory aimed at promoting teaching of Sciences in the School.
The Traditional Ruler complained that in most schools, science subjects were taught without practicals which was attributed to lack of laboratories.
He therefore called on the teachers and students to make judicious use of the laboratory.
In his remarks the State Governor, Malam Nasir el-Rufa’i said his administration was committed to providing sound and quality education across the state.
He said, government was doing very well to promote education through improving teaching and learning in primary and post primary schools in order to achieve the desired results.
The governor who was represented by Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Alhaji Nasir Umar called on parents and Guardians to complement Government effort by enrolling their Children into School for brighter future.
