El-Rufai Present, As 39th Kaduna International Trade Fair Ends With Colourful Ceremony

Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State was physically present as the 39th edition of the Kaduna International Trade Fair ended on Sunday at the State-of-the-art International Trade Fair Complex, Rigachikun, Kaduna.
The governor was accompanied by his wife Ummi and some executive committee members in the state.
Brilliant display from the maidens dressed in the traditional Fulani attire kept the guests that thronged the closing ceremony spell bound, as they paraded in colourful gestures, with the calabash well positioned on their heads.
The weeklong event attracted investors from all parts of the country and some international exhibitors.
One of the biggest innovations of this year’s fair was the featuring of agricultural inputs, which stakeholders say will lead to a bumper harvest in 2018.
In her remarks, the Chairperson of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce,  Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), Hajiya Muyibba Farida Dankaka thanked investors for keeping faith with the fair.
She assured that KADCCIMA will continue to bring in innovations that would make the fair stand out.
Hajiya Dankaka thanked the Kaduna State Government, led by Governor Nasir el-Rufai for creating an enabling environment for investments to thrive in the state.
As part of activities at the fair this year, a Roundtable Discussion aimed at sharing of business ideas was held.
Similarly, a seminar geared towards revving up businesses was equally held.
