As part of activities to mark the turbanning of former Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, friendly football matches have been lined up.
This was disclosed by the Management and staff of TY Buratai Football Academy under the able leadership of its President, Engr Hassan Muhammad.
Our correspondent gathered that the football friendly which is expected to feature two teams is also organized to entertain guests attending the marriage of the daughter of the former COAS.
“We are organizing a special friendly football match to honour Ambassador (Lt Gen) Tukur Yusufu Buratai (rtd), on the feast as Garkuwan Keffi Emirate Council Nasarawa State on July 23, 2022 and the marriage of his daughter on July 30, 2022.
“The matches will hold as follows,
Venue Snake Farm Stadium Time 4:00pm on Saturday July 23, 2022.
“And also, another match will be played between TY Buratai Football Academy VS Biu United on Saturday 30th July 2022 at Biu Township Stadium Borno State and finally Ty Buratai Football Academy will play Galdimari Warriors FC on Sunday July 31, 2022 at the same venue by 4pm,” .
